Creator terms

You retain your rights and offer your series non-exclusively. You must have the rights and permissions for all submitted videos, music, images and performances. You confirm your rights; uploaded files are checked automatically before publication.

For creators using Stripe Connect, the following payment terms apply.

You may publish ready episodes progressively after confirming your rights; the entire series need not be completed first. Choose Free for a series everyone can watch without connecting Stripe, or Paid. On Paid series, the first five episodes are free to everyone, or the whole series if shorter. Active subscribers to your channel can watch its first ten episodes for free and post written comments under your published episodes. Comments are publicly readable; ratings remain available to signed-in viewers without subscribing. You can remove comments on your episodes. The allowance applies once across the whole series and does not restart with a season.

You are the seller of your channel's heart packs and monthly subscriptions. Packs are fixed at $4.99 USD for 500 hearts and $9.99 USD for 1,000 hearts, before applicable tax. DarkRomanceTV takes 30% of pack sales before tax; you receive 70% before payment-processing fees. The monthly channel subscription is $2.99 USD before tax, with zero TV commission; you receive its revenue before processing and subscription-billing fees. There is no Darkish-link commission bonus or exclusivity offer in this release. Optional character links do not change these rates.

Payments are processed directly on your connected Stripe account. Our pack commission is deducted automatically; bank payouts follow Stripe's schedule. You are responsible for seller processing fees, applicable tax obligations, refunds and disputes. You authorize automatic refunds of unused hearts and of the remaining paid subscription period when your channel closes, and cancellation of its renewals. Maintain enough funds to meet these obligations; unavailable funds may delay refunds. Closing stops new purchases and is final for this channel. Withdrawal must preserve valid purchased episode access where rights and law permit. Heart packs and monthly subscriptions are independent; neither buys future unpublished episodes or guarantees a production schedule.

Channels distributed by Lilith Studios LLC

Some creators enter a separate distribution agreement with Lilith Studios LLC. For purchases identified at checkout as sold by Lilith Studios LLC, Lilith Studios LLC is your seller and handles payment receipts, refunds and disputes through its payment account. Creators retain their content rights and receive payments under their accepted distribution agreement. The direct Stripe Connect payment terms continue to apply to other channels.

Your content, AI training and withdrawal

You retain ownership of your content. You grant DarkRomanceTV a nonexclusive license to host, process, prepare, display and stream your submitted content through the service.

DarkRomanceTV does not use your content to train AI models. We will not sublicense your content to other platforms or authorize its independent commercial use by third parties without your prior written permission. Technical service providers may process your content only as necessary to host, operate and deliver the DarkRomanceTV service.

When you withdraw a series, we stop offering it to new viewers and stop new sales. Our license ends except to the extent necessary to preserve access to episodes viewers validly purchased before withdrawal, as permitted by your rights and applicable law. This limited continuing license does not authorize new sales, AI training or unrelated use of your content.

Mature and explicit content

Mature romance, explicit intimate scenes, dark themes and spicy storytelling are welcome on DarkRomanceTV. Keep your creative voice and tell your story your way. When adding your series, choose labels like Spicy, Mature, Explicit or Dark Themes. These help viewers find the kind of story they’re looking for.

As the creator, you are responsible for selecting Explicit if your series includes explicit or open-door intimate scenes. DRTV will automatically ask viewers to confirm they are 18 or older before watching.

You can save drafts and publish independently after confirming rights and terms. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.
