Using DarkRomanceTV
DarkRomanceTV is operated by Lilith Studios LLC, 1603 Capitol Ave, Suite 413 1781, Cheyenne, WY 82001, United States.
These terms apply to darkromancetv.com and its installable web app. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Purchases are also covered by our purchase terms. Publishing is covered by our creator terms. You must be legally able to enter these agreements, or have the permission of your parent or legal guardian where required.
Your account
The first three published episodes of each series can be watched without an account. A free account is required to continue from episode four, including on entirely Free series. Episodes four and five remain free.
Keep your sign-in methods secure and provide accurate information. Purchases belong to the account used at checkout. Do not share access, impersonate another person, bypass access controls, manipulate ratings or view counts, or interfere with the service. Tell support if you suspect unauthorized account use.
Watching and purchases
Creators choose Free or Paid for each series. Every published episode of a Free series is free for everyone. On a Paid series, the first five episodes are free, or all episodes if it is shorter. An active subscriber to that creator's channel may watch the first ten episodes of each Paid series on that channel for free. Subscribers may also post written comments under published episodes of that channel. Everyone may read comments, and signed-in viewers may leave ratings without subscribing. Free series remain free. Creators may change their series offering; previously free viewing is not a purchase or a permanent paid right, and episodes bought with hearts retain their rights. This introductory allowance applies once across the whole series, including its seasons. Creators may publish episodes progressively; an unfinished series is not a promise to deliver a particular ending or date.
Heart packs belong to one channel: $4.99 USD buys 500 hearts and $9.99 USD buys 1,000 hearts. Hearts unlock published episodes on that channel, with repeat viewing included. Hearts cannot be spent on another channel or service, transferred, or redeemed for cash. They do not expire while the channel remains active. No purchase transfers copyright or distribution rights. Existing purchases retain their original episode rights and terms.
If a channel closes, new purchases stop, unused hearts are reserved for an automatic proportional refund, and subscription renewals are canceled. The remaining paid subscription period is refunded proportionally. Refunds are processed through the seller's payment account and remain subject to provider processing and available funds; contact support if a refund is delayed. Valid episodes already unlocked with hearts remain available subject to distribution rights and operation of the service.
Contact the seller using the details on your payment receipt for payment questions and refund requests. Full refunds remove the corresponding paid benefits. Partial heart-pack refunds reduce the funded heart balance and may remove the most recently unlocked episodes when they are no longer funded. An active or lost payment dispute pauses the affected benefits; a won dispute restores the remaining funded access. Applicable consumer rights are unaffected. For unavailable purchased content or a delayed closure refund, contact support@darkromancetv.com and the seller.
Channel profiles and episode comments
Channel bios, logos, banners and links are public. Episode comments are visible to everyone. Only active paid subscribers to the relevant channel may post written comments. Ratings do not require a channel subscription. You are responsible for what you post and must have the necessary rights. Do not post private information, threats, harassment, spam or unlawful content. You can remove your own comments; the channel creator and DarkRomanceTV may remove comments that violate these rules. Removing a comment does not cancel a subscription.
Creators and content
Creators retain their rights and are responsible for the content they publish and for obtaining all necessary permissions. Publication is nonexclusive. AI creators are welcome; AI-assisted content must meet the same rights requirements. For channels using Stripe Connect, creators are the sellers of their channel heart packs and subscriptions. Payments go directly through Stripe to the creator's connected account. DarkRomanceTV never holds the earnings paid through the creator's connected Stripe account. Our commission is deducted automatically at checkout. Stripe sends the creator's earnings to their bank on their payout schedule. Technical file checks and rights declarations are required; they are not a review or endorsement of the content.
Rights complaints and prohibited use
Do not publish unlawful content, content that infringes another person's rights, or material you lack permission to distribute. To report content or a rights concern, email support@darkromancetv.com with the exact page URL, your contact information, a description of the concern and supporting information. We may restrict content or accounts to address misuse, rights complaints, security threats, or legal requirements. Existing purchases are handled under the purchase terms and applicable consumer law.
Channel subscriptions
A channel subscription costs $2.99 USD per month before applicable tax and renews monthly until canceled. Its first-ten-episode allowance applies only while the subscription is active and only to that channel. Active subscribers may write episode comments on this channel. Everyone can read those comments. After the paid period ends, new written comments require another active subscription; posted comments may remain visible until removed. Ratings do not require a subscription. It does not grant hearts or unlimited viewing. Buying hearts never subscribes you. Renewal is authorized explicitly at checkout. Cancel renewal through the channel's hearts page or billing controls; the paid period’s benefits remain until its end. After expiry, Free series remain free and the normal five-episode allowance applies to Paid series. Episodes separately unlocked with hearts remain in your library.
The creator can choose whether to display the subscriber count publicly. It is hidden by default. Subscription payment information is available to the seller and Stripe as needed to process billing, receipts, refunds and disputes. Subscribers may receive one email when a new completed series is published. Stopping these emails does not cancel a paid subscription.
Links and sharing
Public series and episode links may be shared. Sharing does not unlock a paid episode. Optional links to novels, characters, and social networks lead to other services with their own terms and privacy practices.
Service operation
We work to keep the service available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or compatibility with every device. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee third-party content or services. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes and will identify the updated date. Material changes will be communicated where required. Updates do not retroactively change the episodes or price specified in an existing purchase. For general questions, contact support@darkromancetv.com. Channels distributed by Lilith Studios LLC
Some creators enter a separate distribution agreement with Lilith Studios LLC. For purchases identified at checkout as sold by Lilith Studios LLC, Lilith Studios LLC is your seller and handles payment receipts, refunds and disputes through its payment account. Creators retain their content rights and receive payments under their accepted distribution agreement. The direct Stripe Connect payment terms continue to apply to other channels.
